Lynda,

My sentiments exactly. I love that you are doing this blog. I do think that writing is the way to self discovery. These thoughts of yours reflect a very naked and sagacious side of your soul. Keep up the good work and I will continue to send out my good ju ju along with you!

Hey Girlie,

We didn't turn on the news last night, so I didn't hear all about serial killers, child murderers, climate change, or people losing their jobs and homes. Instead, I threw the Frisbee for Gracie and looked through garden design magazines. This morning, I went outside and visualized where to build a greenhouse of rock walls and old windows.

Doing things differently made me even more aware of how fear rips into us and affects how we view our lives and treat other people. Right now, there seems to be more bad news than I recall in many years (thank you very much, Mr. President), which creates more fear, which generates more anger...and results in more bad news. Maybe it's time to stop letting others create our perspectives on the world and get back to generating our own views.
