Kudos to Heidi for finding this shoe. It’s from the Kenneth Cole Gentle Souls collection–blending style with the ultimate cushiness.
The perfect blend between Minnie Mouse and retro chic, these shoes are great with tights and a knee-length skirt.
Finding them may be a bit tough, because Nordstrom’s stock sold out and colors are limited on other sites. (The black suede are my favorites, although they’re quite fabulous in red leather.)
Try Googling “Donald Pliner Ushi.”
The shoes arrived today, and “disappointing” is the operative word. I’m a consistent size 9, and I can barely squeeze my toes into these pumps. They’re so uncomfortable that I don’t even think going up a half size–or even a full size–would make a difference.
Clearly, there’s a valid point to buying more expensive shoes than these. Give me the more costly Cole Haans, Stuart Weitzmans, and Donald Pliners any day.
